David Luiz delivers cryptic response when asked about knee injury
David Luiz has issued a cryptic update on his knee injury following Chelsea‘s 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday evening.
The Brazilian is currently sidelined with a knee problem, while Antonio Conte has refused to put a date on the defender’s return to action.
The Chelsea manager was also angered by questions regarding his relationship with Luiz after being involved in bust-up with the Brazilian earlier this season.
Following Chelsea’s draw with Atletico at Stamford Bridge, Luiz was asked about his injury as he left the stadium but his response was: ‘I feel alive.’

Last week, reports claimed that Luiz has held talks with Real Madrid over a potential move in the January transfer window.
Luiz has been marginalised by Conte after he was involved in a bust-up with the Chelsea manager after the 3-0 defeat to Roma at the end of October.
After reportedly questioning Conte’s tactics, the 30-year-old was forced to train on his own ahead of the following game against Manchester United.
Luiz was then dropped from the squad for Chelsea’s 1-0 win over United and was left on the bench for the win over West Brom and the draw at Liverpool.
