Jurgen Klopp reveals Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah on brink of picking up injury
Jurgen Klopp has revealed he substituted Mohamed Salah against Everton because the winger injured himself during the game.
Liverpool fans and football pundits were bemused to watch Salah being hauled off with 23 minutes left to play, but Klopp has now admitted it was not a tactical switch.
The Reds face West Brom on Wednesday night with their hectic festive schedule now officially underway and will be desperate to play their top scorer as much as possible.

While the Liverpool boss has continually rotated this season, handing rests to Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmno, Salah has started 14 of the Reds’ 16 Premier League games and all their Champions League matches.
Salah has become Liverpool’s most influential player since joining in the summer and has already scored 19 goals from just 24 appearances, despite the fact he is a winger.
Klopp looks set to hand him a breather, however, and continue a trend that has seen him make 59 changes to his starting elevens already this season.
