Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon included on PFA Young Player of the Year shortlist
Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon has been included on PFA Young Player of the Year shortlist.
The six contenders are Ederson, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Sessegnon, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.
The inclusion of Sessegnon is something of a shock, with the 17-year-old playing in the Championship.
Hes enjoyed a superb campaign for the Cottagers, scoring 14 goals in 38 appearances to help the West London club into the automatic promotion places. There has even been talk of him being included in the England squad for the World Cup, despite him never having played in the Premier League.

Among the other contenders, Tottenham striker Kane and Man City forward Sane are also on the six-man shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year award.
Kane has scored 25 Premier League goals in yet another impressive season while Sane has 12 assists for Man City.
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has enjoyed a fine debut campaign that will end with a League Cup and Premier League trophy. He has 14 clean sheets, behind only David De Gea of Manchester United.
Sterling has also played a major part in Man Citys brilliant season with the England international scoring 16 goals in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Rashford has been a regular in the Manchester United team – featuring in 29 Premier League games. Its seen him score six goals and provide five assists.

The winner will be announced on Monday 23 April at the PFA Awards.
