Jean Michael Seri will wait to see who is in charge at Chelsea this summer before entertaining offers from the Blues, reports say.

Chelsea want to steal a march on their rivals by getting their transfer business done early and are ready to move for Ligue 1 star Seri.

The 26-year-old is a rising star in Europe and is wanted by several top sides including Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Mirror claim Chelsea are lining up a £35million bid for Seri, with Nice setting an asking price of around £40m.

Seri does not want to enter into serious talks with Chelsea until the club confirms if Antonio Conte will be at the helm beyond the summer.

Conte is expected to be shown the door in the coming months as the Italians relationship with the clubs hierarchy has rapidly deteriorated.

The Blues look set to miss out on Champions League football with Chelsea currently eight points adrift of fourth place.
