Mark Williams won the World Snooker Championship for a third time on Monday night in an all-time Crucible classic against John Higgins.
The two veterans slugged it out over four sessions in Sheffield, with the score swinging from 14-7 in Williams favour to 15-15 on Monday evening.
The Welshman held his nerve, though, eventually seeing off Higgins 18-16 to claim the world title, 15 years after he last won it.
In doing so, Williams became the oldest player to win the World Snooker Championship since 1978 and followed through with a bet to do the post-tournament press conference naked if he won.
Here is everything you need to know about the Welsh Potting Machine.
How old is Mark Williams?
Williams was born on 21 March 1971 in Cwm, Eddw Vale in Wales, making him 43-years-old.
The last player to win the World Championship at that age or older was Ray Reardon back in 1978 who claimed the trophy at 45-years-old.
How much has Mark Williams earned from snooker?
His third World Championship win gave Williams the biggest single cheque of his career as he pocketed £425,000 – the largest winners prize ever in the sport.
This phenomenal win took the Welshmans career prize money to a whopping £5,875,346, according to cuetracker.net.
He is now fourth on the all-time earners list having overtaken Steve Davis, he now only trails Ronnie OSullivan, Stephen Hendry and John Higgins.
Meet the Williams family
Mark is married to Joanne Williams (née Dent) with the pair getting married in 2011.
They have three children, none of whom are old enough to remember their dads last World Championship win in 2003.
The three boys were there to celebrate the win with their father – Conor, who was born in 2004, Kian in 2007 and Joel in 2013.
How did Mark celebrate his third World Championship?
Williams enjoyed some beers, in fact, quite a lot of beers.
During his naked press conference he said: Im going to party the night away. Last time I won it I think I had half a pint of milk and went to bed. Im not going to bed this time – itll be daylight before I get to bed.
Again, he was true to his word…
