Thibaut Courtois backs Tiemoue Bakayoko to be formidable alongside NGolo Kante at Chelsea
Thibaut Courtois has backed Tiemoue Bakayoko to form a formidable partnership alongside NGolo Kante for Chelsea next season.
Bakayoko was signed in a £40 million deal from Monaco last summer but has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
The France international impressed fans with his performance in the 1-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday, and Courtois believes the midfielder will prove to be a good signing next season.
It is not easy to settle into a new club, especially one like Chelsea, Courtois told the Evening Standard.

People forget that he is still a young guy.
Maybe his form dropped a bit, but you can see in the last few games hes been very good again.
He was very strong against Liverpool in midfield and we can be happy about that.
His partnership with NGolo Kante can be a formidable one in midfield next season.
Physically they are very strong. It will be really hard for teams to win that midfield battle against us.
