Ant and Dec’s talent agency attracts suitors for £140m sale

Ant and Dec's talent agency, James Grant Group, has attracted a number of potential suitors for a £140m buyout of the company, according to reports today.

Bowmark Capital, Inflexion, and Trilantic Partners are reportedly all interested in the firm, which represents athletes, musicians, writers and broadcasters.

The news comes just weeks after Ant McPartlin was handed a record fine for drink-driving.

Sky News reports sources close to the auction, which is being run by the bank Lazard, who said formal offers would be tabled by the end of the month.

It follows after tentative talks about a takeover were understood to have begun with Exponent Private Equity – who own Loch Lomond whisky group.

James Grant was made in 1984 and currently represents a number of high-ranking celebrities including Davina McCall, Lois Tomlinson and Tess Daly.

Last year, the company merged with management company Troika, who represent a mix of clients including Graham Norton, David Walliams and Matt Lucas.

James Grant Group have been contacted for comment.
