Naby Keita pictured wearing Liverpool scarf ahead of official transfer

Naby Keita has been pictured wearing a Liverpool scarf ahead of his transfer to Anfield.

The midfielder will officially complete his move on July 1 after Liverpool agreed a deal with RB Leipzig last summer.

Keitas final transfer fee depended on the success of RB Leipzigs season and after the German club finished sixth in the Bundesliga, Liverpool will now pay around £52.75 million for the Guinea international.

Liverpool were facing the prospect of paying £59m for Keita if RB Leipzig finished in a Champions League place.

Keita will officially link up with his new Liverpool teammates for the start of their pre-season campaign.

But Jurgen Klopp has invited Keita to Kiev for Liverpools Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 26.

Bringing him in the dining room and saying: Boys, he will play for you next season! doesnt really make any sense. Its not my first problem, but I will think about it,” Klopp said last week.

I have not been thinking about things like this, but if Naby is reading this and he wants to come with us to the final, he is invited!

Hopefully, Naby will have a big effect on the team immediately because of his quality.

This was a difficult season for Naby in Germany, and for Leipzig, in general but he still had outstanding performances.

Maybe not the same number as last year, but the whole Leipzig team didnt do exactly the same as last year either.
