Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar met with incoming PSG boss Thomas Tuchel on Sunday and affirmed his commitment to the club, according to reports.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a summer transfer after reportedly becoming unhappy with life in France, while he had not been seen in Paris for months after fracturing his foot.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a huge admirer of Neymar and wants to bring him to the Bernabeu, this summer or next, while Manchester United are ready to rival them.

But Neymar returned to the French capital last week to celebrate PSGs title triumph and has begun training again ahead of the World Cup in Russia next month.

He also won the Best Ligue 1 Player award at a ceremony on Sunday evening, though German publication Suddeutsche Zeitung claim that wasnt all he got up to in Paris.

Prior to the event, Neymar met with Tuchel – who will be confirmed as Unai Emerys successor imminently – to discuss the German coachs plans and vision for the coming season.

Both player and manager were eager to meet each other and got on well, with Neymar reiterating what PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi has said repeatedly: the Brazilian will remain in Paris next season.

Every window it is like this, there are a lot of things, Im not in the moment to talk about anything. Everybody knows what I came here to do, the goals I have, my goal now is the World Cup, its not talking about transfers. Its getting annoying now. (Fox Sports)

Tuchel is excited by the prospect of working with Neymar, the most talented player hes ever had, but recognises it will be difficult to get him on board with his demanding tactics – particularly when PSG dont have the ball.

The former Dortmund coach will be unveiled before the end of the week and will sign a two-year contract before heading to Belgium for an intensive French language course.
