Waterloo-Clapham disruption expected to continue until 6pm

People travelling to and from Waterloo might be affected by severe delays or revised services as an "operational incident" between Waterloo and Clapham Junction is causing disruption.

The disruption is expected to continue until 6pm this evening according to National Rail.

National Rail wrote on its Twitter profile: "We are aware of an on-going operational incident between Clapham Junction and London Waterloo which has blocked one of the tracks heading into London Waterloo."

"This incident will primarily affect services heading into London Waterloo that have come from Reading, Windsor or Weybridge, as well as the London Waterloo to London Waterloo services."

There are also planned engineering works scheduled for this weekend which are expected to cause disruption.
