Zinedine Zidanes issues Cristiano Ronaldo fitness update ahead of the Champions League final

Zinedine Zidane has insisted Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is 120 percent fit ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool.

The La Liga side are bidding to retain the Champions League for the third season in a row when they face the Reds on May 26 in Kiev.

Liverpool were hopeful opposing star striker Ronaldo may have been injured and not ready to play in the final after the Portuguese suffered a minor ankle injury in recent weeks.

But much to the disappointment of the Premier League clubs fans, it looks like that is not to be the case with Zidane insisting hes fine.

Right now he is 120 percent, said Zidane. He is fine. If Cristiano is 120 percent thats fine with me.

The most important thing is to see everyone in good physical shape. Thats what I care about.

Before the final, Los Blancos wrap up their La Liga campaign against Villarreal on May 19.
