Manchester United make £35m bid for Anderson Talisca as manager confirms Premier League move
Manchester United have made a £35million offer for Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca and are trying to beat Liverpool to his signature, according to reports in Portugal.
The 24-year-old played his final game for Besiktas on Saturday evening, where he has been on loan from Benfica for the past season, with the Turkish club unable to pay his buy-out clause.
Instead, Talisca has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with the likes of Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton, as well as Wolves, all credited with interest.
But now O Jogo claim Jose Mourinho – a long-time fan of Talisca – has stolen a march on Uniteds rivals and submitted a £35m offer that they expect to be accepted.

The fee is significantly more than the buyout clause Benfica had negotiated with Besiktas, and the Portuguese clubs president, Luis Filipe Vieira, has already informed the attacking midfielder about the offer.

Talisca is said to be excited by the prospect of moving to Old Trafford and a deal is close even though further negotiations are still required.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes effectively confirmed that Talisca would move to England after Saturdays game.

Asked about the Brazilians future, he said: I am sorry that Talisca is gone, hell be a competitor to Cenk Tosun in the Premier League.
Asked if that meant Wolves, Gunes replied: Look higher.
Despite Uniteds bid, O Jogo also report that Roma and Beijing Gouan are still keeping tabs on Talisca and have not given up home of luring him to Italy or China respectively.
