PSG issue threat to Neymar if he continues push for Real Madrid or Manchester United transfer

Paris Saint-Germain have told Neymar that he will not be sold to Real Madrid or Manchester United and are willing to leave their world-record signing out of the team next season if he continues to push for a transfer.

PSG signed the Brazilian last August by activating his £198 million release clause with Barcelona, but having spent less than a year in France the forward is looking to switch clubs.

Reports in Spain claim that Neymars father is in constant contact with Real Madrids hierarchy in an attempt to facilitate a move this summer.

Manchester United have also been linked with a move, with reports claiming that Jose Mourinhos side are ready to match Neymars £30m-a-year salary.

According to Arab News, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique have met Neymar in Brazil to discuss how they can keep the 26-year-old happy.

And the report also claims that Neymar has been informed that a move to either Real Madrid or Manchester United will not be agreed under any circumstances.

PSGs hierarchy faced a similar situation with Marco Verratti last summer when he wanted to join Barcelona, but the French club told the midfielder that his only options were: To stay. Or stay and not play. Whichever youd prefer.

And PSG will adopt the same approach with Neymar if he continues his attempt to engineer a move away.

Neymar still has just over four years remaining on his contract with PSG and has no release clause in his deal.

The forward has been sidelined since February after requiring surgery on a fractured foot but he has resumed training ahead of Brazils World Cup campaign.
