Arsenal fans livid as club snub Arsene Wenger from Unai Emery welcome video
Arsenal fans have been left fuming after Arsene Wenger was omitted from a video welcoming Unai Emery to the club.
Emery was officially appointed as Arsenals new head coach on Wednesday after Wenger called time on his 22-year reign at the end of the season.
Arsenal paid several tributes to Wenger in the build-up to his exit as the Frenchman received a gold replica of the Premier League trophy, while players and fans were given Merci Arsene T-shirts to wear for the final home game against Burnley.
But the Gunners bizarrely overlooked the 68-year-old in a video published shortly after Emerys announcement.
In the 56-second clip introduced as the next chapter, Arsenal showcased several managers who had played a significant part in the clubs history.
Herbet Chapman and George Graham were both included as Arsenal defined each managerial stint as a chapter.

But after profiling Grahams success, the video made no reference to Wenger and instead skipped to the next chapter and a picture of Unai Emery.
Arsenal fans were furious with Arsenals decision to leave Wenger out of the video and accused the club of disrespecting their former manager.
