World Cup star Aleksandr Golovin is learning English amid intense speculation surrounding his future.

The Russia internationals father revealed this week his son was trying to get his English up to scratch and the news will come as a huge boost to several Premier League sides.

As well as being linked with Juventus, Golovin is reportedly attracting the interest of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Golovin has starred for an unbeaten Russia in the World Cup and as speculation continues to mount, the midfielders father has added more fuel to the transfer flames.

He told Komsomolskaya Pravda: I know that Sasha has already started learning English.

The 22-year-old could fetch a hefty fee after one goal in two appearances in the World Cup.

Russia have produced two excellent displays in their opening two group games and have already qualified for a place in the next round.

Golovin has set up two goals for his team-mates at the tournament in Russia as the hosts enjoy a dream start to the World Cup.

The playmaker has carried his good form from the season into the competition, after an fantastic club campaign at CSKA Moscow.

Golovin laid on six assists and scored seven times in 43 appearances, as CSKA Moscow narrowly missed out on a league title.

The Russian side finished two points behind champions Lokomotiv Moscow.

CSKA Moscow have been open to selling their biggest stars in the past, but will be under no pressure to offload a player who is under contract until 2021.
