Diego Costa gets angry in post-match interview after Spain beat Iran
Diego Costa was angered by a question about his physical style of play following Spains 1-0 victory over Iran on Wednesday evening.
The Atletico Madrid striker netted his third goal of the tournament, albeit in fortuitous circumstances, to edge Spain past a stubborn Iran side, who had an equaliser ruled out after a VAR review.
Costa was involved in plenty of battles during the match and was accused of stamping on the foot of Iran goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand in the first half.
Costa was named man of the match for his display, but in his interview after the game the former Chelsea forward was visibly irked by a question from an Iranian journalist.
The 29-year-old was asked about the he provoked Irans players with his playing style, but the forward was in no mood to issue a mundane response.

I dont know what match youve seen, Costa replied.
“In the first half they were provoking us all the time.
You have to come and see the match as it is, not because its your country, and you come to ask a silly question.
Spain are level with Portugal on four points in Group B and face Morocco in their final group fixture on Monday.
