Arsenal boss Unai Emery hopes new way can help Mesut Ozil rediscover form

Unai Emery believes his new methods can help re-ignite Mesut Ozils form at Arsenal.
The new Gunners boss got his first pre-season as Arsenal boss underway this week and seems to be making an impression on his players already.
Arsenal have spent the last 22 years under Arsene Wengers regime, but Emery is expected to usher in a new way of thinking at the club.

Ozil is one of many Arsenals star men to suffer long-standing bouts of poor form in recent years.
The attacker under-performed for much of last season and Emery revealed he has a personalised plan for Ozil ahead of the new campaign.

We are here to help every player. For me its the same for one player as it is for 25 players, Emery said.

For us Mesut is a very important player we want to help him to be well, fine with us.
Last year was a difficult year for all, not only for Mesut. They finished sixth in the Premier League – not the position we want. Because of that, its a new way.
The national team didnt get the results they want but today he is on holiday and I want him to relax good and I want, when he comes back with us, to start with a good mentality, start hard.
Arsenal pre-season fixtures
Boreham Wood (A) – July 14
Atletico Madrid (Singapore) – July 26
PSG (Singapore) – July 28

I want to work with him with a new way and with an ambition to continue with this quality [he has] and help with this quality, [also] getting better with the team.
Arsenals first pre-season game is against Boreham Wood on Saturday before jetting out to Singapore to take part in the International Champions Cup.
Emery seems to have already completed his transfer business for the summer with the addition of Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Matteo Guendouzi and Stephan Lichtsteiner.
