Diego Costa makes Super Cup history with stunning goal against Real Madrid
Atletico Madrid star Diego Costa made Super Cup history against Real Madrid by scoring the fastest goal in the competitions history.
The Spaniard smashed past Keylor Navas after just 53 seconds in Tallinn, Estonia to put Diego Simeones side ahead against their arch rivals.
Costa headed over Marcelo before nudging past Raphael Varane and smashed an effort from a tight angle past Navas.
Ever Banegas goal against Barcelona within three minutes in the 2015 final was the previous record but Costas was almost two minutes quicker.

Former Chelsea man Thibaut Courtois was forced to wait for his debut after Navas was selected to start against Atletico.
The Belgian completed a £30m move to the Bernabeu last week after refusing to return to London.

Real were playing competitively for the first time without Cristiano Ronaldo following the 33-year-olds £99m move to Juventus.
