Glenn Hoddle backs Unai Emery decision to haul off Mesut Ozil against Chelsea

Glenn Hoddle insists Mesut Ozil could have few complaints after he was hauled off by Unai Emery during Arsenals match against Chelsea.
The now former Germany international retained his place in the starting line-up despite an ineffectual display in last weekends defeat at the hands of Manchester City.
Emery sounded a warning to Ozil in his pre-match press conference, asking the 29-year-old increase his work rate, particularly when his team are not in possession.
But the former Real Madrid star turned in another quiet performance and was substituted midway through the second half.

As Ozil trudged off, Hoddle told BT Sport: The fact hes taken him off is the correct decision.
He hasnt worked hard enough defensively for them.
He hasnt really put people in hes been OK but youre being paid that much youve got to do more than hes done today.
