Eric Bailly slams Gary Neville and Graeme Souness for criticism after Manchester United defeat
Eric Bailly claims criticism from Gary Neville and Graeme Souness about his performance against Brighton was personal rather than constructive.
The Sky Sports pundits ripped into Bailly after the 3-1 defeat, with Souness suggesting the centre-back didnt know if he was in New York or New Year.
The loss to Brighton has put Jose Mourinho and his under-performing players under pressure, but Bailly thinks the criticism was disrespectful.

Bailly believes criticism can be a positive thing, but slammed Souness for crossing the line.
I always take criticism well when they are constructive, when they are there to help and I actually like criticism but in a positive way, Bailly told the Mirror.

But what Graeme Souness said was a little bit disrespectful because it became so personal and its not the sort of criticism that can help a young player improve and become a better player.
Neville too was harsh on Bailly, saying neither he or Victor Lindelof were good enough to start in a title-winning side.
Bailly was stunned by the ex-United players criticism and suggested Neville should know better having represented the Red Devils himself.
I think the criticism was a bit harsh, particularly from people who have played the game and have probably made mistakes themselves during their career, said Bailly.
As young players, we need support from these people. If we got more support from these people, that can help us. But negative comments all of the time doesnt help the young players or the team.
It was not just one individual performance on Sunday. It was the whole team that struggled. But it was just one battle lost, not the whole war.
But its one game. We cannot forget that. We shouldnt just focus on the negative, build on the positive and starting with Tottenham on Monday.
United have a chance to turn their fortunes around on Monday night, but face a tough task with Tottenham travelling to Old Trafford.
