Eden Hazard insists Chelsea have the confidence to rival Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham for the Premier League title this season.

The Blues finished fifth last term – 30 points behind champions City – but have made a strong start to the current campaign, winning four straight games.

Hazard has been on target in Chelseas two most recent victories – against Newcastle United and Bournemouth – and says he is targeting a third Premier League title.

Of course, in the end we want to compete for the first three places, Belgium forward Hazard said following the 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

We want to be champions at the end although we know it will be hard because Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are very strong. So we will see at the end, but we want to be at the top.

We can improve [on the Bournemouth game], of course. We didnt concede a goal – thats a good point. We scored two, maybe we should have scored more – like always.

I think we can move the ball quicker – in the first we were a bit slower. We can improve. We have the confidence.

We have the international break now. We can rest a bit some players. We have a lot of hard games when we get back.

Chelsea are one of only three Premier League teams who still boast a 100% record this season, with Liverpool and Watford also winning their first four games.

On Saturday, Bournemouth frustrated the Blues before late goals from Pedro and Hazard settled the affair.

Im very happy with 12 points in four matches, manager Maurizio Sarri said. But I always think we can do more. We can improve.

I think now for us its better to think of the next match. Because the gap at the beginning was 30 points [to Man City]. I think its very difficult to cover this gap in only one season.
