The final of the super middleweight World Boxing Super Series finally takes place this week as George Groves fights Callum Smith in Saudi Arabia.

It is over a year since Smith (24-0) won his quarter-final bout against Erik Skoglund and neither he nor Groves (28-3) have fought since February due to the latters shoulder injury.

But the Saint is all healed up now and ready to compete with the WBA super middleweight title and the Muhammad Ali Trophy on the line in Jeddah.

The winner will be cemented as the number on super middleweight on the planet and the first ever WBSS winner at 168lbs.

The fight takes place on Friday, 28 September at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The fight is due to start at 9pm BST, a little earlier than main events in the UK due to the time difference.
