Liverpool fans react as Mohamed Salah wins FIFA Puskas Award for best goal
Liverpool supporters were stunned as Mohamed Salah came away with the Puskas prize at the Best FIFA Football Awards 2018.
Many assumed Gareth Bale would walk away with the award after his stunning overhead kick for Real Madrid against Liverpool, arguably the greatest goal in Champions League history.
Salah was forced off in the 30th minute in Kiev after being hauled to the ground by Sergio Ramos which saw him miss the start of the World Cup. But at least the Egyptian phenomenon had something to smile about on Monday night.
The forwards wonder goal for Liverpool against arch-rivals Everton was considered the best of the last 12 months.
