Arsenal manager Unai Emery insists Aaron Ramsey has not been affected by a breakdown in talks over a new contract and expects him to give 100% in Saturdays clash with Watford.

The Welshman is out of contract next summer, when he is free to leave the Gunners for nothing, though had been expected to renew his deal after productive talks.

But a contract offer was unexpectedly and suddenly taken off the table this week, though Emery insists Ramsey is still as committed and focused as ever.

The focus in on tomorrow, said Emery of the midfielder. Tomorrow I want, and we want, his best performance.

Might this affect his performances? I think not. I want to have also the best preparation for him for his mentality and his quality to give us our best performance to help us to win.
