Jose Mourinho warns struggling Manchester United players ahead of Valencia showdown
Jose Mourinho insists he is delighted his side has an immediate opportunity to bounce back from Saturdays defeat against West Ham, but warned his under-performing stars they must match his own desire and commitment.
Uniteds winless run was extended to three matches after Manuel Pellegrinis side strolled to an ultimately comfortable 3-1 victory on Saturday which heaped further pressure on an already beleaguered Mourinho.
Reports claim United players were openly discussing the future on their manager on the journey back to Manchester. Mourinho is now said to have lost patience with Alexis Sanchez, having already fallen out with Paul Pogba, and is presiding over a toxic dressing room atmosphere.
Valencia, themselves struggling this season, visit Old Trafford on Tuesday in the Champions League looking to capitalise on the current chaos but Mourinho is confident he can mastermind a much-needed victory.

For myself, speaking of my own feelings, I am really happy that we have a game on Tuesday, he said.
I am really happy that I now start immediately thinking about training tomorrow and about the match on Tuesday.
I prefer that to only playing next Saturday, with one week of these bad feelings.
I look forward to that match on Tuesday and I hope the majority of the players have this same kind of mentality, and that they are looking forward to Tuesday.
I have no complaints with the players attitude.
