While it didnt look overly concerning at the time, its now been revealed that Del Potro has suffered a patellar fracture.
The medical studies carried out on Saturday showed that Juan Martin del Potro suffered a fracture of his right patella bone in Shanghai, a statement read.
Del Potro admitted he was saddened by his latest cruel injury blow.
