Manchester United legend Eric Cantona names Manchester City as Premier Leagues most exciting team

Eric Cantona admits Manchester City is the most exciting team to watch in the Premier League, but the Manchester United legend is not happy about the matter.

City are the defending champions and currently tied at the top of the table with Chelsea and Liverpool.

Chelsea and Liverpool are being tipped to challenge City for the title this season, while Cantonas former team United are currently eighth in the table.

Cantona is a vocal fan of the Red Devils, but begrudgingly conceded Uniteds local rivals are Englands best entertainers.

I always hope it will be United [to win the league], Cantona told Joe.co.uk.

Especially as the favourites this year are the teams we most want to defeat. Its very early in the season so we must still hope that United will perform well.

It is terrible but the best team to watch at the moment is the other team. The one I dont like to mention by name.

Club action resumes this weekend after the international break and United travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho is under increasing pressure at United, with Cantona calling for the the Portuguese to be replaced by a manager who has a personality more like Pep Guardiola.
