Liverpool will be without Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita for their Champions League clash against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday night, the club have confirmed.

Sadio Mane, however, is on track to make his return from injury against the Serbian champions.

Keita returned from international duty with a hamstring issue and was forced to sit out the weekend win over Huddersfield.

The midfielder returned to training on Tuesday, and is back running but will not feature against Red Star.

Its not too good, to be honest, Klopp said about Henderson. Its nothing we have to worry too much about, but its a hamstring issue so we will have to see.

He will not be available for tomorrow for sure, and probably not Cardiff, but hopefully then he can be back. We will see.

Liverpool take on Red Star looking to bounce back from defeat to Napoli, and welcome Cardiff to Anfield on Saturday.

Naby is already outside running, but the game tomorrow will be too early for sure, Klopp said when asked about Keitas progress.

Despite the double blow to Liverpools midfield, Manes return will be a major boost for the Reds.

A broken thumb has sidelined Mane for the last week, but the forward is now in contention to play against Red Star Belgrade.

Klopp said: Sadios good in training. He trained normal. If nothing happens he is in contention.

Naby will not be available, Hendo not as well. We have to see check Naby day by day. We have to see when hes fully fit. It should not be that long.

Hendo got a little hamstring injury in the game. I understnad not too serious but serious that he is not available tomorrow or the weekend.
