Lewis Hamilton made history on Sunday by becoming only the third driver to win five Formula One world titles.

The 33-year-old Brit now has 71 race wins to his name, the second most in history, and is just two world titles away from Michael Schumachers seemingly untouchable record.

Hamilton has enjoyed an incredible career on the track and it seems far from over as he stands head and shoulders above his competition in the Drivers Championship.

However, he has plenty going on away from racing, and here is everything you need to know…

Hamilton was born on 7 January, 1985, making him 33-years-old and he stands at around 5ft 8in tall.

Celebrity Net Worth estimate Hamiltons net worth at a whopping £285m, with Forbes stating that he has earned $51m (£39m) in 2018 so far.

$42m of this is from Formula One earnings with $9m coming from endorsements.

Although the relationship has not been confirmed by either party, Hamilton is believed to be dating US rapper Nicki Minaj right now.

They have been spotted together a number of times and posted social media videos of a trip away together.

He also responded to a recent Instagram photo of Nicki with a heart emoji – which can surely only mean one thing!

Lewis most notable ex-girlfriend has been Nicole Scherzinger, 40, who he dated on-and-off from 2007 until 2015.

Their relationship began in November 2007 and they split in January 2010, although they appeared to be back together later that year and then flitted in and out of relationship status until finally calling it quits in February 2015.

Hamilton has been thought to have had numerous brief relationships with various famous faces, although these have rarely been confirmed as anything serious.

Lewis spent some time with Sofia Richie in 2017 and with model Winnie Harlow in 2016 into 2017.

Hamilton was also rumoured to be seeing Hungarian model Barbara Palvin in 2016, the same year in which he was linked with singer Rita Ora.

He has also been dating beauty queens Vivian Burkhardt and Lotta Hintsa earlier in his F1 career.

Hamilton had a long-term girlfriend before he found fame as a superstar Formula One driver as he dated Jodia Ma from 2003 to 2007.

The two met at the Cambridge School of Arts and Science and broke up just as Hamilton broke into F1.

Before Hamilton had gained any sort of notoriety for his racing, he dated Danielle Lloyd back in 2002.

Lloyd has dated a number of famous men, specifically sportsmen, and even more specifically, Spurs players, including Teddy Sheringham, Jermaine Defoe and Jamie OHara.

Hamilton went on a busy promotional tour for his new brand in September, flying to Milan, London, Shanghai and New York within 10 days.

However, he dismissed concerns at the time about his schedule, concerns that proved to be unfounded as he went on to win the world title.

I have got other things that I am doing, and trying to fit in training over the last week has not been easy. I have travelled more in the last two weeks than I have all-year long, Hamilton said.

But from my experience, I have been able to move around even more than I have in the last fortnight, and still switch it on into race mode. There is not a single moment when I am not thinking about the championship.
