After being announced as a featured talent for WWEs Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia earlier his week, Hulk Hogan officially made his WWE return at the event today.

Billed as the host of Crown Jewel, Hogan began the show by walking to the ring as a huge fireworks extravaganza took place at the stadium in Jeddah.

Hogan was fired from WWE in July 2015 after using racist language multiple times in a leaked video, but has consistently apologised since.

The former WWE Champion was reinstated into the Hall of Fame in July, but it took until today for a reappearance at a WWE show.

At 65, Hogans popularity shows no sign of abating, as the Saudi crowd cheered and chanted for the veteran star, who looked to be in excellent shape considering his advanced age.

It feels so good to be out here in front of the whole WWE audience, said Hogan.

You know what feels even better is that after I flew halfway around the world and landed here, I found out that the power of Hulkamania was stronger than ever, he continued.

Hogan praised the fans in Saudi Arabia, and expressed his excitement at being back in WWE.

It remains to be seen if Hogans return was a one-off, but his impressive popularity in Saudi Arabia will no doubt convince WWE to continue to use him on camera in the future.
