Paul Pogba insists it would be a pleasure to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, amid ongoing speculation surrounding his future.

The former Manchester United winger joined the Italian champions in the summer following a trophy-laden nine-year spell at Real Madird and has made an immediate impact in Turin, scoring seven goals in his last 10 matches in all competitions.

Like Ronaldo, Pogba is preparing to face his old team tomorrow as United look to enhance their hopes of qualifying for the knockout phase of the Champions League and bounce back from their 1-0 defeat against Juve at Old Trafford a fortnight ago and Pogba admits keeping the Portuguese legend quiet will be easier said than done.

I thought it was a great purchase by Juventus: having Cristiano is always good for the team, playing with great players like him, Messi or Neymar is always a pleasure.

I think hes happy to be here and I think its a great thing for Juve to have a player who scores goals like drinking water.

Pogba has been central to Uniteds recent improvement with the side now set up to attack, rather than contain. Asked what had prompted the change in focus, Pogba added: I think it came from everybody.

We started to realise we are Manchester United. Before that game it was really bad and confidence was low, we didnt give enough but after the win over Newcastle we came back.

We played really well against Chelsea, we played all together and when you play together its always easier.
