Zlatan Ibrahimovic speaks out on Arsene Wenger potentially taking over as AC Milan boss

Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not believe Arsene Wenger will take charge of AC Milan but has opened the door to returning to San Siro himself.

It has been heavily reported that Milans new owners want Wenger to replace Gennaro Gattuso in the dugout, though the Frenchman has publically distanced himself from the role.

And Ibrahimovic – who could return to Europe on loan during the Major League Soccer off-season – does not think he will be joined by Wenger in Italy any time soon.

I think its more likely that Ill come back to Milan than Arsene Wenger will go there, Ibrahimovic told LEquipe.

I dont think he wants to go to Italy and face that challenge. Milan is not an easy challenge.

I want to go to make a difference. Thats what Ive always done, everywhere.

On potentially returning to PSG, he added: If I come back to PSG then its only to be the boss. I cant come for anything else. Thats the only way to make me come, there are no other possible positions for me.

Thats not for now though, Im an active player and I still want to play. When I decide what to do, Ill tell the world.
