Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is hoping to retain his place as Arsenals central striker for Sundays north London derby, though is prepared to shift to the wing if required.
The Gabon international led the line in the absence of Alexandre Lacazette in the Gunners last Premier League outing, a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth, and got on the score sheet in the second half.
However, the majority of his appearances this season have come off the left wing with Lacazette preferred through the middle.

The Frenchman is expected to return from injury for the visit of Tottenham, and Aubameyang says he is prepared to do a job for the team on the wing even though he prefers playing as a centre-forward.
I prefer to play as a striker, in the middle, of course, Aubameyang told Sky Sports ahead of the north London derby.

But Im a guy who works for the team as well. And if they need me on the wing, Ill play on the wing, of course. But I prefer to play striker.
Arsenal have had a host of excellent forwards who have put Spurs to the sword in the past, and Aubameyang is keen to emulate them.

He continued: Of course, we try to follow the steps. Its not easy, but we try. Its not pressure, but you know you have to be good so you work for that.
And I think thats good, when you have great examples like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, and its great for us to try to follow their steps.
