Manchester United open talks with cut-price Galatasaray defender Ozan Kabak
Manchester United have opened talks with Galatasaray over the potential signing of Ozan Kabak, reports claim.
The 18-year-old centre-back has established himself as a regular for Fatih Terim this season, despite only making his debut earlier this year, and United are looking to secure a cut-price deal for him.
Galatasaray value him at around £20million but a £6.7m release clause would allow him to leave on the cheap, according to the Daily Mail.
Talks have begun between the two clubs regarding a move, with representatives from the Turkish giants open to agreeing a fee.
Galatasaray chairman Mustafa Cengiz has, however, also held talks with Uniteds bitter rivals Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho has been desperate for United chiefs to land a new centre-half, but is thought to prefer a move for a more experienced player.

Napolis Kalidou Koulibaly is near the top of his wish list but the Italian giants £90million asking price may prove too dear for the Premier League outfit.
Kabak is viewed as a long-term solution to Uniteds defensive woes and the Red Devils will look to complete a move regardless of whether Jose Mourinho stays or not.
