Virat Kohli slammed by former Australia bowler Mitchell Johnson

Former Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has criticised Virat Kohli for his conduct following his controversial dismissal in last weeks second Test against India in Perth.
Kohlis outstanding 123 in the first innings, a record equalling sixth century on Australian soil, was brought to an end by brilliant catch at second slip by Peter Hanscombe.
After several replays, video umpire Nigel Llong gave Kohli out having failed to find conclusive evidence to overturn the on-field soft signal of out given by officiating umpire Kumar Dharmasena.

It proved to be a decisive moment the match which Australia won, levelling the series, by a sizable 146-run margin. Kohli was afforded a standing ovation by the home crowd but refused to acknowledge their applause, much to the disdain on Johnson.

I actually had friends in the crowd who Id spoken to about this – they said there was a standing ovation for him, hed made a brilliant hundred, got his team back in the game and he didnt raise his bat or acknowledge the crowd, Johnson told The Unplayable Podcast.

I thought as a player, not just as a captain, thats pretty ordinary and its disappointing.
And then not to turn up to press conference – when you score a hundred … and theres a bit of controversy, as the captain you should stand up for your team, get in there, basically squash it and move on.
But now its been talked about, it keeps continuing, hes put a young player – (fast bowler Jasprit) Bumrah – up into the fire and I just dont think it was a very good thing to be honest.
It just looked like he was not too happy with the decision and hes dragged it out and just made it all about him.
