Zinedine Zidane tells Real Madrid to smash transfer record to sign Kylian Mbappe
Zinedine Zidane has made Kylian Mbappe his number one transfer target this summer and Real Madrid are preparing a world record offer, according to reports in France.
The French coach returned to the Bernabeu earlier this month after axed boss Santiago Solari failed to stop the rot and president Florentino Perez promised Zidane full control over transfers to convince him to come back.
Zidane believes Reals squad is in need of huge investment and wants to bring in a new superstar, with Mbappe his first choice.
According to France Football, Real are already preparing to make an offer of around €280million (£240m) to land Mbappe – a figure that would smash the transfer record.
Zidane is a huge fan of Mbappe, both his talent on the pitch and humbleness off it, while the striker idolised Zizou growing up and would love to play under him.

However, PSG will do everything possible to cling onto Mbappe, while Perez is keen to retain a good relationship with the French side, so a deal will be extremely hard to agree.
Zidane has other targets, though, in what promises to be a huge summer of transfer activity at Real.
