David De Gea open to Juventus transfer but Paris Saint-Germain lead way for Manchester United star
Paris Saint-Germain are willing to meet David De Geas wage demands as the race heats up to sign the Manchester United goalkeeper.
The Spaniard has 15 months left on his current deal at Old Trafford and the club have so far refused to meet his wage demands, which are believed to be in the region of £350,000-a-week before bonuses.
Uniteds decision to hand Alexis Sanchez record wages of around £400,000-a-week has caused friction within the squad, particularly as the Chilean has failed to vindicate their decision at any point in the last 18 months.
De Gea is not unhappy at Old Trafford and will consider staying at the club if they increase their offer.
However, the Spaniard is aware he may have to end his eight-year stay in the north-west and the Independent claim he viewed Juventus as an attractive option.

The Italians allowed Gianluigi Buffon to move to PSG last summer and were expected to enter the market for a top level goalkeeper this summer.
However, Wojciech Szczesnys form has convinced the club that such a move would be unnecessary and thats opened the door to PSG.
