Billy Vunipola shows support for Israel Folau over homophobic social media post
Billy Vunipola has become embroiled in the homophobia storm surrounding Israel Folau by showing support for the Australian rugby union player.
Folau, a devout Christian, shared a social media post claiming that hell awaits gay people and Rugby Australia have confirmed that they intend to terminate the full-backs contract.
The 30-year-olds future is now in serious doubt ahead of this years World Cup in Japan where he was expected to be one of the stars.
England and Saracens ace Vunipola received widespread criticism for liking Folaus controversial post and the back-row forward has now shared his opinion on Instagram.

This is my position on it. I dont HATE anyone neither do I think Im perfect.
There just comes a point when you insult what I grew up believing in that you just say enough is enough, what hes saying isnt that he doesnt like or love those people.
Hes saying how we live our lives needs to be closer to how God intended them to be.
Man was made for woman to pro create that was the goal no? Im not perfect Im at least everything on that list at least at one point in my life.
It hurts to know that. But thats why I believe theres a God.
