Ole Gunnar Solskjaer backs Barcelona to win Champions League after eliminating Manchester United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Barcelona have all the ingredients required to win the Champions League and feels Manchester United were handed the toughest possible draw.
The Red Devils exited Europe on Tuesday night in Camp Nou after another Lionel Messi masterclass, with the Argentine scoring twice in four minutes before Phillipe Coutinho added a stunning third goal in the second half to seal a 3-0 win (4-0 on aggregate).
Barca are likely to face Liverpool next after the Merseysiders secured a two-goal advantage over Porto, and Solskjaer has named the Catalans as his favourites to win the competition.
Asked if Barca can go all the way, Solskjaer said: I think Barcelona, with the quality theyve got, with the front three theyve got – and even Dembele and Malcom, players there to put on – I wouldnt bet against them, even though I dont bet!

For me they would be favourites to win the whole tournament… and it was the worst draw we could have had.
