Rafa Benitez urges Newcastle United to sign Kenedy from Chelsea

Rafa Benitez has urged Newcastle United to sign Kenedy on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
The Brazilian left Stamford Bridge on loan until the end of the campaign in January and has made a swift impact at St James Park.
The 22-year-old has scored two goals and registered one assist in his last three appearances and has been a key part of Newcastle latest run of three consecutive wins in the Premier League.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Kenedy, who will still have two years remaining on his contract this summer, but Benitez would be keen on signing the midfielder.
We will try to our best to keep players if they are doing well and have more experience in the Premier League, said Benitez.

Now its too early and the target is to get 40 points and then start thinking about the future. We will see.

In January, when we brought in [Martin] Dubravka and Kenedy, they were giving us different things, competition in different positions and everybody was trying even harder.
I think that was a key factor, and after that, the team experience and mentality that this group have is quite good.
