Arsenals players stunned and upset by Colin Lewin exit
Arsenals players are stunned and upset by the clubs decision to sack physio Colin Lewin this week, according to reports.
The 44-year-old was informed on Monday morning that his services were no longer required.
Lewin, whose official title is head of medical services, has been with Arsenal for 23 years.
According to the BBC, the decision regarding Lewins departure was entirely unexpected and has left many of Arsenals players and staff stunned and upset.
Lewin had played a vital role throughout Arsene Wengers reign at Arsenal.

Lewin is not the only departure from the backroom team this summer as first-team coach Neil Banfield is also leaving.

Banfield has been with the club for more than 20 years, while goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton, fitness coach Tony Colbert and equipment manager Paul Johnson are also leaving.
Wengers trusted first-team coach Boro Primorac is also on his way out.
Steve Bould and Jens Lehmann have both been asked to stay on, although their future could change depending on who replaces Wenger as manager.
