Juan Mata has revealed he is in talks Manchester United over a new contract.

The 30-year-old scored a sublime free-kick to pull United level against Juventus on Wednesday evening before Alex Sandros own goal sealed a 2-1 victory for Jose Mourinhos side.

Matas contract is due to expire at the end of the season and the Spaniard could leave Old Trafford as a free agent.

But Mata, who joined United from Chelsea for £37.1 million in 2014, has revealed that he is currently in discussions with the club over extending his deal.

I am very happy in England, my contract is up in the summer, and Im in talks with Manchester United in order to see what happens, Mata told El Transistor after Uniteds win over Juve.
