Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon

Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon was born on the 4th of August 1900. Her parents were the Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne. In 1923, she married the Duke of York and became Queen Elizabeth when her husband was crowned King George VI. When her husband died in 1952, she became Queen Mother, and her elder daughter became Queen Elizabeth II. She became the most popular queen-consort in UK history.
During her childhood, Elizabeth was referred to as a “two Benjamins” by friends. She and David were known to have a good sense of humor. One time, they were photographed smoking cigarettes together in the “flea house” in St Paul’s Cathedral. During their later years, they spent most of their time at Glamis Castle, Scotland. Sarah Ferguson

Prince Andrew
Prince Andrew is a member of the UK Royal Family. He was born on 19 February 1960. He is the third child of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip. Prince Andrew is eighth in line to the throne, but is the first to be born outside of the line of succession. He was made Duke of York by Queen Elizabeth II.
Andrew grew up in Buckingham Palace and went to school at Gordonstoun, a boarding school in Scotland. He also briefly attended the Lakefield College School in Ontario, Canada. He went on to enter the Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth in 1979 to train as a naval officer. He graduated from the school in 1980. After completing his training, he joined the Royal Navy. In 1982, he began flying helicopters.
Prince William
Prince William is the elder son of Prince Charles and the first in line to the throne of the United Kingdom. He attended the prestigious Eton College and St Andrew’s University and trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He served in the Royal Air Force and qualified as a search-and-rescue pilot. He met his future wife, Kate Middleton, while attending college. They married in 2011, and have three children.
William and Kate moved to Windsor, where they live at the Adelaide Cottage. The couple have three children: Prince George, Charlotte and Princess Charlotte. The couple reportedly raises their children to enjoy outdoor activities and limit their exposure to television and computers. However, they also give them more royal responsibilities.
