The real reason Mohamed Salah missed Liverpool training ahead of Arsenal clash

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is fit to feature in the side’s clash with Arsenal.
Salah has made an appearance in every Premier League match for the Reds so far this season, but there had been fears over the 25-year-old’s hamstring ahead of Friday night’s showdown.

The Egyptian forward was missing as Jurgen Klopp‘s players posed for festive squad photograph on Wednesday evening, sparking rumours that he could miss the match with Arsenal.
According to the Liverpool Echo, though, Salah is fit to face the Gunners at the Emirates, much to the relief of the Merseyside giants.
It’s understood he was absent from the photo as he had to return to his homeland to be unveiled as Vodafone Egypt’s brand ambassador.
The trip took place just 48 hours before Liverpool’s clash with Arsene Wenger’s side.

The ex-Roma forward has scored 20 goals in 26 appearances since his summer move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Salah’s strike in a 4-0 thumping of Bournemouth meant he became the first Liverpool player to score 20 goals since Ian Rush back in 1986.
