Lyon worried Liverpool target Mohamed Bahlouli will be tempted by Klopp interest
Liverpool’s interest in Lyon midfielder Mohamed Bahlouli has the Ligue 1 side worried he will leave for Merseyside in the summer, according to reports.
The 18-year-old central midfielder, who has been promoted to the club’s under-19 squad, has caught the eye in France’s youth divisions with 38 goals in 42 games over the course of the season and is expected to make his senior debut soon, with scouts from Europe’s top sides reportedly watching his progress.

Liverpool are believed to be one of the clubs at the front of the queue, according to France Football.
Lyon have been made aware of Liverpool’s efforts to turn the 18-year-old’s head and are trying to convince him to remain with them amid growing concerns he will push for an exit in the next transfer window.
Bahlouli has previously said he wants to emulate the success of former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who left Anfield in January to join Barcelona in a club-record £142m transfer.
Liverpool may need to reinforce their midfield in the summer following Coutinho’s exit earlier this year and the expected departure of Emre Can, who is yet to extend his contract which expires a at the end of the season.
Jurgen Klopp will have Leipzig’s Naby Keita added to his midfield options ahead of the new season, though, after the club agreed his signing with the Bundesliga side last summer.
