Derek Chisora takes aim at pimp Eddie Hearn and his handling of Dillian Whyte
Derek Chisora has accused Eddie Hearn of refusing to match Dillian Whyte with WBC champion Deontay Wilder.
Whyte has been the WBCs No.1 ranked contender for the last year, but a shot at Wilder has yet to materialise for the British heavyweight.
Chisora rematches Whyte on Saturday in London, two years on from their classic encounter, and believes his rival has been short changed by his own promoter.
Eddie Hearn is a snake in the grass, Chisora said after the final press conference on Thursday.
Boxing is like pimps and hoes, promoters are the pimps and us boxers are the hoes, thats how it is.
He is selling Dillian short, 100 per cent. When you hold a WBC silver belt then you are mandatory to fight for the title, but they have not put the money up to fight.
Asked why he believed Hearn would sabotage his own fighter, Chisora insisted the Matchroom boss was not interested in spending big money when he expects Wilder to beat Whyte.
Eddie does not believe Dillian can beat Deontay, Chisora said.
From what I have been told, if they had offered Deontay £4.5million then it was on.
He should have got Dillian the Wilder fight. Eddie was supposed to phone Showtime and make the fight happen.
He added: But instead they kept lowballing the guy and he told them to forget it.
Whyte agreed with Chisoras assessment, acknowledging there was some truth in his opponents comments.
Hearn may feel Whytes chances against Wilder are slim, but the promoter will be hoping his fighter comes through the test against Chisora unscathed.
Whyte is the frontrunner to fight Anthony Joshua in April at Wembley, providing he beats Chisora this weekend.
