Govt to set up infra to boost IT growth in J&K: Ravi Shankar
SRINAGAR: The Centre will soon set up “all required infrastructure” for development and export of IT products from the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ravi Shankar Prasad said here on Thursday.
The Union minister for law and justice, communications and IT, after inaugurating the incubation facility at the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) in Srinagar, said the facility will provide opportunities to IT entrepreneurs by providing plug-n-play and other digital infrastructure, along with regulatory support to develop and export IT products.
Park officials informed Ravi that J&K presently has three STP hubs with around 140 registered firms and for the financial year 2019-20, exports from these units are poised to hit Rs 6.76 crore. Read More – Source
