Manchester United star Ander Herrera provides injury update on Instagram after Champions League blow
Ander Herrera has provided an update on his fitness as he bids to return to first-team action after suffering an injury in the Champions League.
The Manchester United midfielder started the last-16 clash with Sevilla last week but managed just 17 minutes before hobbling off with an injury.
Jose Mourinho expects the Spaniard to remain on the sidelines for a few weeks but he appears to be already making progress at United’s training complex in Carrington.

In an Instagram video, Herrera filmed himself performing some light drills with the caption: ‘Making steps.’
Herrera’s appearance against Sevilla was his first for United in over three weeks – he sustained a similar problem in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley in January.
Due to his most recent setback, Herrera is expected to miss United’s Premier League clash against Liverpool next weekend, along with the return leg against Sevilla three days later.
Speaking about the injury ahead of United’s Premier League fixture against Chelsea last weekend, Mourinho said: ‘Ander is out, I don’t know the final diagnosis but I know he is out for a few weeks.
‘I don’t know how to say “few”, two, three, four, five or six, I don’t know, but for a few weeks for sure.’
