Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given Manchester United the green light to make an offer for Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports.

The Red Devils are on the hunt for Antonio Valencias replacement ahead of the summer transfer window as the Ecuadorian right-back heads into the final few months of his contract at Old Trafford.

Wan-Bissaka has caught the attention of Englands elite clubs with an outstanding campaign for Palace, the 21-year-olds first full season in the Premier League.

The Daily Mail claims that Wan-Bissaka tops Uniteds wishlist this summer with Solskjaer convinced by the England Under-21 internationals burgeoning potential.

The report adds that Solskjaer has sanctioned a £35million bid for the young defender as he looks to bolster the weaker areas of his squad.

United are also weighing up moves for England youngsters Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Declan Rice.

Solskjaer hopes United are able to bring in his targets before pre-season gets underway ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

We have been discussing how to move forward. That doesnt mean X amount of money or X amount of players, but its now easier to be clear about what we need to do, Solskjaer said after he was appointed permament manager last Thursday.

We will do some business this summer.
