Meghan Markle‘s outfits will forever be a great source of interest as she continues to make bold fashion statements – and prove she loves a good sale, too.

The 36-year-old went for an all-black ensemble for her recent Cardiff visit with Prince Harry, which happened to be her most expensive look to date.

Her image is strikingly different to Kate Middleton‘s, who loves a splash of colour, with Meghan having previously shown her love of neutral colours on other public engagements to Brixton and Nottingham.

She’s also been throwing her support behind British brands – including Jigsaw, Burberry and Marks & Spencer.

And although the vast majority of her wardrobe items are sold out online now, don’t fret – you’ll undoubtedly be able to find similar items from another retailer who’s already jumped on the Meghan bandwagon.

Meghan Markle’s Cardiff look

On Thursday 18 January, Harry and Meghan headed to Cardiff – one hour late because of train delays – to visit Cardiff Castle, Star Hub and Streetgames, which work on engaging young people.

Here’s what she wore:

THE COAT

Meghan wore British brand Stella McCartney Tie Detail Coat, which retails at £1,350 from Harrods. Aside from the hefty price tag, you might be disappointed if you have your heart set on snapping it up as 24 hours after Meghan wore it, it has sold out. The long-sleeve coat with peak lapels is a classic Meghan look.

THE TROUSERS

Savvy Meghan chose trousers from Hiut Denim for her visit to Cardiff – very apt, considering the designer is based in Cardigan in Wales. It looks like she’s chosen their Dina style. The skinny-fit, high-waisted jeans retail at £175 and you can currently pre-order them for shipping in March.

THE TOP

Meghan opted for a woolen off-the-shoulder Theory jacket to team with her trousers. Usually costing $495 (£355) from the American retailer, it looks like Meghan snapped it up for the bargain price of $198 (£140) on sale. Unsurprisingly, it’s sold out on their website but you might have luck finding it elsewhere online.

THE EARRINGS

Beady-eyed fans of Meghan Markle have tracked down her earrings too – and they’re mis-matched (click on the image below to zoom in). Meghan wore a triple shooting star earring from Gabriela Artigas – which retails for around £210 – and a Zofia Day Dash earring in her other earlobe, which sells for $575 (£415) per pair. Now odd earrings IS trend-setting.

THE SHOES

For her feet, Meghan opted for Tabitha Simmons’ Black Velvet Kiki 75 Ankle Boots, which retail at £525. Available from Browns, they are currently in stock so be quick if you want a pair.

THE BAG

Meghan added some a splash of colour to her all-black ensemble with one of DeMellier’s classic The Mini Venice bags. In Forest Grain, it retails at £295. While it can be worn over the shoulder, DeMellier’s website states the most ladylike way to wear it is by its handle, which is exactly how Meghan chose to wear it.

THE COST?

The total cost for Meghan’s Cardiff look is in the area of £3,325.

Meghan’s Brixton look

On Tuesday 9 January, the royal couple visited Reprezent FM radio station in Brixton to meet young people turning their lives around with the help of the station.

Here’s what she wore for the occasion:

THE COAT

Meghan’s stunning coat gave her look a relaxed yet sophisticated look. Called Brando, it comes in the beige she chose, as well as a dark grey, and is by Smythe, retailing at £585. Sadly, it’s sold out, meaning you’ll have to hunt for a replica. Top tip: Try some US shopping sites.

THE TOP

It’s the £45 jumper that sold out in every single size just hours after Meghan wore it on her Brixton visit. Marks & Spencer, who claim they had no prior knowledge Meghan had chosen an item from their Autograph collection, even re-stocked it two days later but, again, it sold out imminently. You might be able to find it in stores, rather than online, if you hurry.

THE TROUSERS

Meghan teamed her Marks & Spencer jumper with a pair of stunning Burberry Stockport Slouchy Trousers. They were sold at £406 but it seems she may have had these before her visit to the radio station, as they’ve been out of stock for months.

THE SCARF

The beige Jigsaw Sara Sewn On Fringe Scarf retailed at £69 – not bad, considering it’s of royal standards. It even went into the sale at £34 but, predictably, it sold out when Meghan wore it. It’s unlikely Jigsaw will replenish their stock but it shouldn’t be too hard to find a beige fringed scarf on the market.

THE SHOES

Meghan opted for a suede heel for a second outing, choosing Sarah Flint’s Jay Pump 100 style. There are some larger sizes available at $395 (£285), at the time of writing, but – as ever – you’ll have to act quick.

THE COST?

The total cost for Meghan’s Brixton look is in the area of £1,390.

Meghan Markle’s Nottingham look

On Friday 1 December, Meghan and Harry headed to Nottingham to visit the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Here’s what Megahn wore:

THE COAT

Meghan’s royal blue coat worn for her Nottingham visit is a staple of her wardrobe, with the former actress having been spotted in it a number of times. The double-breasted piece, called Elodie, is by Canadian label Mackage and costs £550.

THE BOOTS

Meghan’s ultra-stylish boots came from high street designer Kurt Keiger and cost £229. The slouchy, over-the-knee boots are no doubt sold out everywhere by now, but you might be able to find some department stories still stocking them online.

THE SKIRT

Meghan’s stylish beige skirt is by British brand Joseph, named Laurel, and costs £390. It’s sold out online but pesky shoppers may be able to find it in some stores still.

Underneath Meghan’s coat was a black, high neck jumper by Austrian brand Wolford. At the time of writing, it’s still available online and retails for £180. Hoorah!

THE BAG

Meghan’s now-iconic Strathberry bag – an Edinburgh-based designer – sold out within just 11 minutes of Meghan’s visit to Nottingham. In fact, one of the £295 bags ended up being auctioned for charity to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust.

THE COST?
